Derby County will do battle with visiting side Stoke City at Pride Park Stadium in the Championship game on Saturday. Here is an update on the latest predicted line ups and news on player availability.
Derby County, following on from their previous result, will be hoping for more of the same after the 0-1 Championship victory vs Hull City. We are thinking that The Rams may well line up in a 5-3-2 system this time and select Josh Vickers, Craig Forsyth, Matt Clarke, Nathaniel Phillips, Sondre Langås, Kane Wilson, Ebou Adams, Harrison Armstrong, Liam Thompson, Marcus Harness and Jerry Yates.
Callum Elder, Jacob Widell Zetterström, Dajaune Brown, Joe Ward, Ryan Nyambe, Lars-Jørgen Salvesen, Curtis Nelson and David Ozoh will not be able to play for Derby manager John Eustace.
How Derby County could look against Stoke City
After being beaten in their last game against Sheffield United in Championship action, Stoke City will be aiming to make amends here. It’s our belief that The Potters seem likely to utilise a 4-2-3-1 formation with a starting lineup of Viktor Johansson, Junior Tchamadeu, Ashley Phillips, Ben Wilmot, Lynden Gooch, Wouter Burger, Tatsuki Seko, Million Manhoef, Lewis Baker, Joon-ho Bae and Sam Gallagher.
In an otherwise healthy squad, there is only a single fitness problem for the Stoke City gaffer Mark Robins to be concerned with. Josh Wilson-Esbrand (Calf injury) won’t be playing here.
