Gareth Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett has revealed the Welshman has no interest in returning to the Premier League at this time and is happy with Real Madrid, who are 5/4 with bet365 to win the Primera Liga title this season. Former Tottenham Hotspur star Bale left the English top-flight when sold to Madrid for a reported €91 million at the start of the 2013/14 season and has had, overall, a successful time at the Santiago Bernabeu. As well as winning La Liga and the Copa del Rey, the 30-year-old forward has also been part of the Real Madrid side who won four Champions League titles between the 2013/14 and 2017/18 seasons but things have turned sour since their last European triumph. Bale has been booed by some Real supporters and the club have looked to offload him at times, leading to rumours of a move back to England. But Bale’s agent Barnett has claimed he could not fathom why the 30-year-old would want to leave Madrid, telling BBC Radio 4:
"To come back and play [in the Premier League] would be a big thing but I don't think he wants to do that at the moment as he's quite happy to play at Real Madrid."
