Thomas Muller says playing for Bayern Munich, who are 1/3 with bet365 to win this season's DFB Pokal, remains his

"passion"

after signing a contract extension with the Bundesliga champions. Having been sidelined by previous head coach Niko Kovac, Muller has enjoyed a renaissance season since Hansi Flick took charge, scoring six times and contributing 16 assists - the joint-most in Europe's elite leagues alongside Manchester City's Kevin De Bruyne. The 30-year-old has spent his entire career playing for Bayern, winning eight Bundesliga titles, one Champions League and countless other honours in that time, and now looks set to finish his career at the Allianz Arena. Muller's previous contract was due to expire next year but he's now put pen to paper on an extension to stay with the Bavarians until 2023.

"This club is not just any old employer for me,"

Muller told Bayern's official website. "It’s my passion. I’m happy that I’ll be here for two extra years, and I’ll give everything on and off the pitch.”
