Presenting both sets of likely teams plus ins and outs for Saturday’s MLS match.
D.C. United will be looking for an improved result here after the 3-0 MLS loss in their previous game against Philadelphia Union. It’s our opinion that Black-and-Red will possibly go for a 3-4-3 system for the game and select Luis Barraza, Derek Dodson, Lukas MacNaughton, Lucas Bartlett, Aaron Herrera, Brandon Servania, Hosei Kijima, David Schnegg, Jared Stroud, Jacob Murrell and Dominique Badji.
Conner Antley, Jackson Hopkins and Hakim Karamoko will be missing for DC United gaffer Troy Lesesne.
Possible D.C. United team to take on Colorado Rapids
In their previous game, Colorado Rapids drew 1-1 in the MLS match with Seattle Sounders FC. From our viewpoint, Rapids might begin the game with a 4-4-2 lineup with a starting lineup of Zack Steffen, Reggie Cannon, Andreas Maxsö, Chidozie Awaziem, Jackson Travis, Cole Bassett, Oliver Larraz, Josh Atencio, Djordje Mihailovic, Darren Yapi and Rafael Navarro.
Rapids manager Chris Armas has to choose from a squad that has some fitness concerns. Connor Ronan (Appendectomy), Ali Fadal (Knee injury), Jackson Travis (Broken thumb) and Adam Beaudry (Ankle injury) can’t be considered.
