Let’s now look at the possible line-ups and player availability news for Sunday’s forthcoming MLS clash.

Real Salt Lake will be looking for an improved result here following the 2-0 MLS loss in their previous game against Los Angeles Galaxy. We are thinking that Claret and Cobalt may well opt for a 4-2-3-1 system for this game, handing starts to Rafael Cabral, Noel Caliskan, Philip Quinton, Brayan Vera, Sam Junqua, Braian Ojeda, Nelson Palacio, Dominik Marczuk, Zavier Gozo, Diego Luna and William Agada.

Zac MacMath, Matthew Bell, Kobi Henry, Emeka Eneli, Javain Brown and Diogo Gonçalves will not be able to play for Salt Lake boss Pablo Mastroeni.

Possible Real Salt Lake team to take on D.C. United

Since a loss in their previous game against Chicago Fire in MLS competition, D.C. United will be aiming to make amends here. We are inclined to think that Black-and-Red could decide to play in a 3-4-2-1 formation, starting the game with Luis Barraza, Garrison Tubbs, Lucas Bartlett, Hosei Kijima, Conner Antley, Jared Stroud, Brandon Servania, David Schnegg, Gabriel Pirani, Rida Zouhir and Jacob Murrell.

DC United manager Troy Lesesne has a number of players out of action. Christian Benteke (Ankle injury), Lukas MacNaughton (Muscle injury) and Jackson Hopkins (unknown injury) are those who can’t be considered.
